SS Times
-Whoosh, just like that April has come and gone.
During the month we had a steady stream of good training weeks. We achieved some personal records but just feel short on others. All in all, it was another positive month for SS.
Many clients are progressing to exercises and weights that they never thought they were capable of, and that is one of the coolest things about this business.
I have had the pleasure of watching many of you blossom into fitness warriors, throwing around weight on rack pulls or bench pressing (all with correct form!) and it is awesome.
To all of you that have provided referrals and positive feedback to others, I am grateful. I very much appreciate you taking some of your valuable time to help spread the word about SS. Very cool!
Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us.
Thank you for trusting Smart Strength with your health and wellness.
We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you into the future!
To recap the month
-We completed 158 total sessions for the month! (8 short of March record)
-We averaged 39.5 sessions per week during the month of April , now that’s a PR!
-We added 5 new members (27 active members)!
-We had several members take advantage of the “Run the Rock” 5k series last Friday. Very cool. Another example of how far many of us have come in our fitness journey.
-The Peloton has proven to be an effective cardio workout. If you have a weight loss goal, we should be taking full advantage of the calorie burning the bike provides.
Moving Forward
-SS shirts are still in the works. Thank you for being patient on this.
-As the weather consistently warms up, we will look to incorporate some outdoor exercise… walking lunges down Superior St anyone??? I am thinking this could become a part of our warm up.
-Smart Strength clients receive a discount towards our awesome Run Albion series. The second race is Friday, June 25th. Plenty of time for us to get in shape. I would love to have a group of SS clients participate in the race. It is a great course, highlighting some beautiful portions of Albion and always a good time! Click the link to visit their website.
-The gym will be closed Thursday May 13th– Sunday May 16th, hence the limited schedule on Zen Planner that week.
-Smart Strength will be implementing summer availability hours in the coming months. Look for another email soon describing this in detail.
As always, if anyone has any suggestions or feedback, please shoot me an email, or let me know during our next session.
Looking forward to a summer to remember!
